Spermatocelectomy is one of the treatment via surgical procedure which separate epididymis from spermatocele. It aims to eliminate large spermatocele(fluid-filled cys) that causes pain in men. The procedure will give patient an anesthetic in the groin. A small incision is made into the scrotum.

The surgery is usually done by making an incision to pull the testis and epididymis. Spermatocele separated by tying with the sutures, but the scrotum was closed without using sutures.

Spermatocelectomy procedure may not be so cause complications but there is always the risk of each procedure. But before doing spermatocelectomy, the doctor will first examine the possibility of complications.

Some things that will do by your doctor before doing a spermatocele surgery such as blood tests, urine tests, physical examination, and imaging tests. Anesthesia which will be given should also be considered.

During the spermatocelectomy procedure usually will not hurt, but your doctor will likely prescribe painkillers after spermatocele surgery .
