Procedure for Special Cases
These methods are then used when

     spontaneous outflows are not expected to
     Litholyse one is not possible,
     ESWL is contraindicated,
     ESWL had no success or
     the stones are in a disadvantageous position.


Push and smash - Procedure
If the stone in the ureter for example, unfavorable, may be trying to reach him endoscopically (Ureterorenoscopy). Here, a flexible endoscope is inserted through the urethra and bladder into the ureter. Then an attempt is made to him vorzuschieben in the renal pelvis. Then the stone is shattered right there with shock waves (push and smash method).


Ureteral stones can be removed with a snare
If the stone further down in the ureter may be trying to help him out with a sling. Destruction by a laser or Ultraschallithotripter within the ureter is possible.


Operations on the skin only at very large stones
