Women of childbearing age are much more affected than men
Urinary tract infections are the most common infections of humans. Depending on age, differs whether women or men are predominantly affected.

     In young children, boys are much more affected. The reason is that boys are more frequently affected by abnormalities of the urinary tract, as a girl.
     In childhood, the relationship changes. Now girls are four times more frequently affected by urinary tract infections than boys.
     This change will remain until about the 50th The same age. Women suffer significantly more often in urinary tract infections than men. Why is this so, you can read here.
     From the 50th Age is changing the relationship again. The reason is that there is increasing with the men at this age to benign prostate disease and prostate enlargement (BPH) occurs. These lead to an outflow obstruction and contribute to the development of urinary tract infections.
     Pregnancy and birth favoring a urinary tract infection. Important in this context is still that urinary tract infections resulting in 30 percent of pregnant women with pyelonephritis (pyelonephritis) or during pregnancy.

I am on the 3rd UTI in a year. with blood and now blood clotting. strong pain when urinating. I have been to GP last 2 should I go to Specialist now! Cant handle the pain and the blood scares me! My mom suggested me using ADULT DIAPERS.
