Vaginal cones for urinary incontinence

A special form of pelvic floor muscle training is the practice with vaginal cones. Vaginal cones are small, cone-shaped objects which may have a different weight. They are pushed into the vagina. To prevent slipping, the pelvic floor muscles automatically tense.


The weight is gradually increased.
Depending on how strong the muscle is, the effect of exercise by walking or hopping to be strengthened. Every day should be trained about 15 minutes. At the beginning it is quite difficult. Since the cone must be placed more frequently. The success comes from consistent practice but pretty soon one of the victims and the cone can hold a full 15 minutes. If this target is met, the weights of vaginal cones can be increased slowly.


Cones can not only help with incontinence.
In
Vaginal inflammation, during menstruation and during pregnancy should be exposed to the training. Vaginal cones help not only against incontinence. They are also a good pelvic floor exercises after childbirth, to prevent uterine prolapse and for training of the muscles after pelvic surgery.
