Symptoms and consequences of a permanent erection

Pain and blue discoloration of the penis
At a low flow priapism, which occurs at about 90 percent of those affected, there is a congestion of blood in the corpora cavernosa, because the venous drainage is impaired. High flow priapism
At a high-flow priapism the blood flow through the arteries is increased. This form causes little pain, the corpora cavernosa are less taut. The risk of permanent damage caused is less.
