Not every penis looks the same. There are a number of different natural forms. Of a penis curvature occurs when the penis deviates from the straight axis. There may be lateral variations, forward and backward bends and even "twist" around the central axis. Each warp, prepares the complaints or even makes sexual intercourse impossible, should be treated. A distinction is made between congenital and acquired penile curvature penile curvature.


Synonyms
The acquired penile curvature is known under different names. It is designated as "Peyronie's disease" after the French physician Francois de la Peyronie, who described them in 1743. In medical language acquired penile curvature as "Peyronie's" or abbreviated IPP is called. The congenital penile curvature contrast is called congenital penile curvature. It is often not recognized until the onset of puberty, when the disease first erections make them visible.

  Characteristic of the disease IPP are hardening (induration) within the connective tissue that surrounds the corpora cavernosa of the penis. These lumps are also known as plaques, usually located at the top of the penis, more rarely at the bottom.
