Symptoms in Urology: Algurie and strangury
Pain during urination is called Algurie
Algurie means painful urination. Pain at the beginning of urination often come at a urethritis (inflammation of the urethra) before. If the pain at the end of urination, this indicates more of an inflammation of the bladder neck or prostate.


Irrepressible urge to urinate with pain and burning are called strangury
A strangury is not to be suppressed urination with burning, soreness and pain during urination. The most common causes include inflammation of the bladder and urethra.

     Cause bladder: cystitis, inflammation of the bladder neck, bladder stones or foreign bodies in the bladder.
     Urethra cause: acute inflammation of the urethra, urethral cancer, urinary stones and injuries within the urethra such as sexual intercourse.
     Cause prostate: acute bacterial prostatitis, prostatic and prostatic carcinoma.
     Cause bubbles gland: inflammation of the gland vesicles.
