The external male sex organs

They consist of two parts: penis and scrotum;

Male organ (penis):

The penis is in flaccid state and lies down on the scrotum. On the underside of the penis is the Harnröhrenschwellkörper. The skin of the shaft is very flexible and movable. Forward it is a duplication, as the foreskin, the glans is covered with skin and as a reservoir for the erection conditions. The foreskin has more on the underside of the glans to a delicate strap. The skin of the penis has sebaceous glands, sweat glands and Lanugohäarchen. The inner layer of the skin of the glans and foreskin are like a mucous membrane. Hair and sweat glands are missing.

Testicles (scrotum):

The scrotum hangs under the penis between the thighs and in front of the dam down. A median suture indicates the emergence of two halves. The skin is dark, thin, no fat, contains numerous large sebaceous glands and a few hairs. It is the abundant smooth muscle usually placed in numerous wrinkles. It plays an essential role of thermal control. Thus, the testes in a cool ambient temperature by an involuntary contraction of smooth muscle fibers are used closer to the body.
